First of all, hi! Welcome and we are happy that you’ve shown interest in our shop.
We created Tail of Joy when we saw a gap in the market for new, functional and practical pet products at reasonable prices. Our selection of products will make your life as a pet owner easier and your pet’s life happier. We will ensure that we continue to look for new and innovative products in the market and offer them to you.
We will provide you with exceptional customer service and hope you will enjoy our products. Here at Tail of Joy we love animals and have their best interest at heart. All of us grew up with dogs or cats and couldn’t imagine a life without them.
We have worked really hard to create a brand that represents our vision and values and to satisfy you - the end customer. Hopefully you can feel that genuine love for our products when purchasing from us!
Happy shopping !
My name is Sarah and this is Max our Foxy / Jack Russel. I was born and raised in Germany and grew up with our Golden Retriever Tine. I do have to admit that Goldies are probably my favourite breed of dogs. I moved to New Zealand in 2009 where I met my now Kiwi husband Cam. We love the outdoors and live close to some beautiful New Zealand beaches. We have a boat called "Chasing Tail" which gets taken out quite a bit to catch some Snapper, Kingfish, Southern Bluefin Tuna, Marlin or Swordfish.
Our dog Max loves chasing balls and a good swim in the ocean. He knows what he wants and doesn’t want and can be a bit grumpy at times. However he is the most loyal dog and would never run away from us – unless there is a thunderstorm and he gets spooked.
Then there is Jessie – a rescue Pomeranian (we all think her mum must have had an encounter with a Chihuahua as she is so so little). She is feisty and still barks at all of us when we enter the house. She loves chasing and sniffing out rabbits and has actually survived 2 days and nights in a burrow. Once she has made friends with you she won’t leave your side and loves a cuddle.
Sparky is a Pomeranian and loves the beach and a good cuddle. He is a bit slow on his legs as he has had major surgery years ago but we are all surprised how well he has recovered.
